WCA Sailing is an informal sailing club on Lake Windermere in the Lake District. Members sail a variety of keelboats and cruisers, with a varied racing and fun sailing calendar in both summer and winter, social events throughout the year and seagoing cruises further afield.
The Windermere sailing year is divided into two seasons, Summer and Winter. The nature of the sailing is different in each. Not everyone keeps their boats on the lake over the winter, so the season has a natural start when boats go back in, usually in late March/early April.
